Analytics
We record anonymous page-view events (which post was viewed, an approximate device type, and a randomly generated session identifier that is not tied to any account or personal identity) to understand which content is useful. This data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store the email address you provide, the page you signed up from, and the timestamps of your signup and confirmation. Nothing is sent to an address until you open the confirmation link we email you, so someone else cannot subscribe you.
We use Resend to deliver these emails, which means your address is processed by them on our behalf. We don't share this list with anyone else. Every newsletter email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and your mail client's own unsubscribe button works too; we keep a record that you opted out so you aren't accidentally added back.
Cookies
This site does not use tracking cookies. Session identifiers used for analytics are stored in your browser's session storage only, and are cleared when you close the tab. Your light/dark theme preference is stored in local storage on your own device and is never sent to us.
Advertising
If ad slots are enabled on this site, they may be served by a third-party ad network (e.g. Google AdSense), which may use its own cookies subject to its own privacy policy.
